Blue Marine Shmuffex Rib tube mould remover
A highly rated product! Shmuffex is designed to remove mould stains from Hypalon Rib tubes and inflatable boats.
Sodium hypochlorite based product, Shmuffex is not suitable for fabric because it may damage it.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: First of all, remove any excess soiling not due to mould; then spray product directly onto the surface to be cleaned; let stand until mould stains disappear and then rinse with water. The length of time for treatment will vary, depending on the type and severity of mildew. Then, if necessary, leave in for an hour, or apply the product several times in order to get the desired result.
It is always recommended to test any product in a small, hidden area first.

Having tried the usual cleaners without any real success I was advised to use this product. My white Avon hadn’t been cleaned for years and was mouldy and dirty. Once the grime has been removed with Magic Rib cleaner I used the Shmuffex. It takes a number of applications but each time more of the white started to come through. It’s not a quick job but at least it works. I used 2 bottles on a 3m rib. You will need to wash the product off and clean then use a conditioner afterwards. This also works on fenders. Very good product happy to have found somethings that actually works.
